Welcome to 10 miles from...

... a blog sharing my love for exploration both close to home and in far off places. I want to offer ideas for diverse experiences, from Walks in the Cotswolds to Round the World adventures; from Camping in Kent to a Patagonian Cruise, and from Campervan cookery in the Outer Hebrides to fine dining at the Fat Duck in Bray!

I would like to share tales of our travels, and thoughts and photographs across my many interests, and would love to hear about your adventures too.

Something worth seeking out.
A great local cafe. A hidden museum.

Local traditions or crafts. Beautiful walks. A secret beach.
Curiosity and Wonder are two gifts children display in abundance.
If we can rediscover these gifts as adults,

we can find WOW moments wherever we are.
